This week, we cut out leaves from green paper then put them in a circle. Using different gross motor movements such as bear crawling, crab walking, inch worming, and frog leaping, we moved from station to station. Each leaf has an activity that focuses on a skill or concept to learn from following directions, spatial concepts, articulation, wh- questions or describing objects. Feel free to change the stations based on your child's needs! The movement breaks between each task improve attention to task and allow our children to stay engaged longer with harder materials.

"Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible."
